Surprisingly nutty for a box of spuds, Fungus Fries is proof that you don't need to be crazy to live in the Yucky Mart - but it sure helps. This merry madman can often be found shouting out barely intelligible sentences.
Fungus' impulsive insanity has a tendency to ruin the gang's best laid plans, but they can't stay mad at the loopy tuber for long - he's just so happy! All the time. So, so happy. It's unnerving, really.

Fungus Fries is a slime-covered box of greasy French fries with a buck tooth hanging from his mouth. His right eye is larger than his left eye.
Collector Card[]
Fungus Fries' collector card is Card 16 in the series. He has flies buzzing around him, while he tries to swat at them with an annoyed face. He has the tagline of "Would you Like Flies With That?" on the bottom.
Card 53 is a sticker card with the same image.
Trivia[]
- Fungus Fries is similar to Stench Fries, a Trashie from Series 1 of the Trash Pack. He is also similar to Fiona Fries, a Season 3 Shopkin, and Wise Fry, an exclusive Food Fair Shopkin.
- Despite not having any appearances in the webseries until The Grossery Gang: Bug Strike movie, he still has a long bio, and is also portrayed as a heavily-advertised character in promotions. The preliminary video shown at the Toy Fairs did use him in the animation, however. His bio also appears on the Australian Cartoon Network website, despite having no part in the series until The Grossery Gang: Bug Strike movie.
- His prototype cartoon name was French Fry Head, but this was never utilized in other works. His cartoon name has changed to Chips McGraw as of Series 3. Here, he is voiced by Nicolas Roye.
- His fries sometimes act as hair, styling in various ways.
- It took until wave 2 to get Fungus Fries his action figure form.
- His webseries name comes from the character Sgt. Chips McGraw from the 1944 Western Buffalo Bill.
- Although his more complex bios suggest that he doesn't like vegetables, he is seen several times with Shoccoli in commercials and sometimes in the webseries.
